   Here’s one idea: make the borders around “new” images thicker than around non-new images. I’m not sure how its done, but this comic site uses that technique in its galleries: http://users3.ev1.net/~dukeofdeception/
   Looking at its source code, it seems like all he did to do that was add a ‘ border=”5″ ‘ option to the img src command. Of course, it’d be a pain to remember to undo all the different places the option was added the time the >next< update is ready; if this sounds interesting perhaps consider emailing that site’s author and seeing if there’s a way he does it.

   Another idea is just to keep an ongoing list of all the places you’ve added material as you’re doing it, then post that list when you’re done adding stuff. This wouldn’t be as obvious as the first option & would expect regular visitors to be able to recognize “new” stuff, but would still be a better option than not doing it. My preference would be to do both, but I’m not sure how much of a pain that would be.

   Thanks for ideas.

   As can be seen from the dates, I have very little time to spend on this site (sigh), so I want to remove as much manual work I can. It`s enough to work with photos.

   One option is to reset the dates on new files, so if file date is after certain date, I can add smth to the image.

   Real problem is not that. It’s how to give regular visitors only new pictures, instead of new mixed with old.

   I have some thoughts, but it will have to wait next free weekend.
