Face lift and some…
If you visited here in the last few days, you could sense that something was happening. I had an update ready, long time in making, finally got it all right and then slipped on the last stone. Oh well.
Site is now hosted at DreamHost, in California. Having very positive experiences with hosting them while hosting my blog, I decided to move the YG site as well. This should result in faster experience because of the bandwidth and connections to the rest of the Internet.
I changed many things under the hood here, but the most important for you is that this site behaves much better in Firefox, Opera or similar modern browser. Site is still perfectly usable in Internet Explorer, but the overall experience is better in modern browsers (IE is an outdated browser, one that has not seen any web development for several years).
Almost every area is improved and hopefully you’ll find it to be a nice design evolution.
Do you have something to say? Here, share your thoughts.

Simply said, Yasmeen is one of the most beautiful females on this planet. Your site is, one of, if not THE best Yasmeen site, truly. Sincerely, thank you for your hard work. I look forward for the new site.
My strongest good wishes,

Actually, Yasmeen is quite beautiful (a trite observation), however, having worked in Saudi Arabia for two years I have seen faint glimpses of Hejazi women that are almost as beautiful. Last I heard Mrs. Ghauri was getting an education….You can’t say that about Kate Moss now…can you ?

This is probably the best site about Yasmeen out there!
There is something I want you all (and the world) to know about the beginning of Yasmeens modeling career in Montreal. I don’t see the truth written anywhere and it really bothers me.
She was discovered at McDonalds (where she was working) and was told to go see the Giovanni agency. When the owner of the agency saw her, he did not want to represent her (probably because he couldn’t see there being a market for indian/ethnic models. That sickening thought is still around today). An agent at the agency saw her potential and told the owner that she would work with her to give her a chance. Can you believe that even Yasmeen Ghauri can (and was) rejected. And by a man that owns a modeling agency (he should have better eyes than that).
Yasmeen had a tough time in the Canadian market (again still the same today for so many ethnic/indian models) and got her break when a model (who was booked) got sick and couldn’t make her booking for Elle Austrailia. Yasmeen got the job as her replacement.
Thats when things started changing for her and then of course when she left for Europe.
This is why she is such a strong presence in the modeling world. We have to start making some changes and get advertisers to start opening their minds.

Ciao Yasmeen´s fan!
Nice that everyone of you has noticed in the past what for a beautiful person in and outside she was and still is!
I want to say to dyla´s comment, that everyone of these famous ten Supermodels had a tough time at the beginning. Look also at Helena Christensen or Linda Evangelista!
Yasmeen Ghauri reached Supermodel status after only 1 year!
Admire her as a icon in a time of fashion who will never return
